Tourist arrival in Nepal increased by 4.5 percent in March

Tourists arrival in the month of March increased by 4.6 per cent in compared to the same period previous year, according to Nepal Tourism Board.
A total of 46,491 tourists came to Nepal during March via the only international airport of the country.
The percentage of Indian tourists coming to Nepal increased by 28 per cent this March. A total of 9,629 Indian tourists landed in Kathmandu in compared to 7,521 the previous March.

Likewise, tourist arrival from Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Bangladesh also increased by 38.3, 6.8 and 2.5 per cent respectively.

In total, south Asian tourists arrival to Nepal has increased by 22.5 per cent. Likewise, tourists arrival from non-Asian countries increased by 10 .5 per cent.
