Hollywood actress Demi Moore made a five-day trip to Nepal, and interacted at length with the media in Kathmandu.

She addressed the problem of human trafficking at a news conference organised by Maiti Nepal, a non-profit organisation. 

Maiti Nepal aims to protect Nepali girls and women from crimes like domestic violence, trafficking for flesh trade, child prostitution, child labour and various forms of exploitation.

Nepal government has formed a five-member panel to look into the demand for separate burial grounds by Christians. Christians, a minority in the erstwhile Hindu kingdom, have been undertaking a relay hunger strike since March 23 seeking land to bury their dead.
